I just coded a macro for the Nostromo that does my dodge for me. As long as I hold the key, I dodge! That should make things easier.

Only problem I see with that is that you'll have the same dodging pattern all the time.

Nope, no chance of the dodging pattern being the same all teh time. All I did was go into the loadout editor and record a macro of me pressing the right strafe key 2x, and then record one for the left strafe key. Then I assigned each of these macros to their own buttons. Now I just push one button and I dodge right, and push the other and I dodge left. Now I won't wear out my keys with double taps!

Well, at one point I was assigned to a new building part time. One building was T-ring, and I had the nic in my docking station. The other building was ethernet. So I had a pcmcia nic for that building. I asked LAN to help me set it up, since that is what they want us to do. He spent two hours, coudn't get the card to work, and gave up. I then pulled up the read me file for the driver "For Dell Laptops...install different driver located in xyz directory." Installed the right driver and was working in less than 15 minutes.

Desparation? No, just time management.

Unfortunatley in this circumstance, it was the PFY that had enough experience. The OFG, (old fat guy) has been around since the transistor was invented.

In regards to the norstromo, I bought 5 of them when they were on sell. I distributed them to Rogue, Spade_Jr, A freind Wolverine works with and of course I use one. It is the best in my opinion and gives you all the things you are unable to script in the unreal engine. Dodging is just one example of a great feature. I have spent many hours with macros, scripts, key bindings, and timings to get the best out of it. Installation is simple and programing is simple. I would agree that if you have a small hand or short fingers that you may not like it at first but for me it is a dream. I would give it a 9 out of 10 and would recommend it to anyone that is serious about improving their game play. I have not had a chance to use it at a tournament yet but look forward to our next one. I will put together the information I have attained and get Zwarrior to post it. Of course it will be after the next game day. :rolling
