Duke3D Lives!!
« on: October 13, 2003, 11:15:27 PM »
Yes, that gem of all gems, the one that started it all is again running on my system!

It seems that 3D Realms released the source code for Duke3D to the 'Net a while back.  That prompted a plethora of ports to Windows and other OSes.

The one that worked the easiest for me?

Duke3D_Win32!

A quick install procedure to save you fumbling around...

1) Install Duke3D.
2) Unzip Duke3D_Win32 to a directory of your choosing.
3) Copy the DUKE3D.GRP from the Duke3D install directory to the "bin" directory forDuke3D_Win32.
4) Frag away!

Zoƫ: Shepard, isn't the Bible kind of specific about killing?
Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.
