Just played call of duty. WOW! makes MOH look like last years game.  This is one I'll get. It's a DX9B game.
Just got do with the demo best action demo I've every played. BF1942 move over the biggest baddest game is coming in Nov.

i 've played it as well.. However...i am not as 'GUNGHO' as Boomslang... IT's nice..don't get me wrong..

I think it is similar to MOH.  I have a single player demo.. but

maybe if you run everything on high and res at 1600 x 1200. oh sorry your machine can't do that.8/

You need to find the german snipper rifle. and put it on full auto.

Hey boob...achem!  i mean Boom... The Wolverine Rig can run it at the highest settings, with 1600x1200 for your information....and it looked great!

Call of Duty, isn't really out of the norm.. It is another WWII game.

Boom?  What about Call of Duty gets you all excited?

The way it looks and plays. I can't wait to drive the tanks. I see you had to check if your pc could do 1600 x 1200:lol

It is not one of my prerequisites of a machine to be considered worthy. I don't play at that resolution so I never tried. But I tried it and it worked fine...

I did think something was cool last night when i played it again... I was getting shot at...and part of the wood fence I was behind was shot off.. I like when the environment is getting affected more than just a bullet hole that disappears. Nice, Very nice....

I did like that the number of weapons is smaller, more realistic.   Though I don't like that you can't use the backspace key as a button.  Need to find a new key for that in this game. :(

Otherwise, it was a nice, but VERY short, game.  Graphics are good.  I ran it at 1024x768 without a single hitch.

I must say though.  I didn't like that I had to do all the work and they just covered me.  I lost a lot of men before I figured out that Iwas the one that had to do all the work.

Personally, I picked up the game 3 days ago and have been loving it.  I have only been playing single player at this point but I think it blows MOH away.  The graphics are the best I have seen and it is very real to life.  I dont know what the demo provided but the full blown game is well worth the money.  As you all know, I am not a single player guy at all!  It is rare that I will sit down and play a game in single player.  This game has my full attention and caint wait to get back to it.  Three nights of playing so far and enjoying every minute.  Hope to try multiplayer soon but I guess I will have to make a trip or plan a party.  I did notice that multiplayer does not have bots.....bummer!

With that glowing recommendation, I may consider it then.

It is my undertanding that they used the same engine as MOHAA.  Is this not correct?  If so, that would explain the lack of bots, a fact that I really dislike about MOHAA.

I don't know guys.. For Spade to share what he thinks about games when he REALLY hasn't been in the mix for awhile is like....

asking an Amish guy if he thinks this new cell phone is worth buying... (but they don't use phones)

Spade said himself that he 'rarely' sits down to play any Single player games. I think, he hasn't played with us in SO long that he is having withdrawals and....THAT..is the ONLY reason why he would think this game is worth it. The game is just another WWII game trying to get the lime light. Well, I won't give it the pleasure... (turning off lime light):lol

Actually from what I remember, he has no Internet connection, so the only multi-player he gets is if Rogue comes over, or if he beats on Spade Jr or Miss Spade jr.!

Well, Spade got the game on my recommendation. I've been telling you guys this is the stuff. It's good to see Spade posting again. Let me know when you have internet. There is a clan I want to kick their butt (MC). Many of the Clans are using teamspeak now. If anyone wants to try it before you buy it give me a call. This is one for the next lan party
