With SLI, I have been hearing issues if you try to use different SLI cards. I have also heard that there has been issues between the same model, but different revision.

So you might want to save up and get two of them at once.

Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.

I'll probably go with SLI or Crossfire in about 1-2 years. If I do, I probably will end up building another computer.

For me, if I upgraded to SLI I don't really want to get rid of the motherboard and vid card becaous they are very recent. All I would have to do is just pull out a cd drive, one hard drive, 2 gig of ram and I would just need a few things for another computer. I probably would even build my own case if I had the time.

I read about this a while ago, looks like sweet card. at this point in time I am going to hold out for my next system, and get a 7800 gtx w/ 512mb ddr3. or what ever is tops at that point. but it's a sweet looking card for sure.

Before upgrading, I would start going through tons of sites for the newer parts to see how they compare to the ones that are out now.

No, The only reason I can't is that i have no money to do it with but, it looks like even ATI can't top the 7800 w/ there latest card. With the 512 model out it is too good. the price it good  but i need a new Mobo, too.

there is an Asus board i think i want too then the processor. *sigh* but I need lots-o-money that I don'[t have.

I thought that I would point out that you can find a 7800gtx w/512 mb starting at 500. Not at 800. They do make some that costs that much, but the base price is 500.

Well, I'm not sure about that. at least the quality. NVidia, quote MSRP starts at 800 for 7800gtx w/ 512

I'm pretty sure the quality won't be that good, but I have seen them that low.
