Just upgraded to a XP 2200+ and exchanged 1 stick of my Crucial DDR 2100 cas 2.5 with a stick of OCZ 2700 DDR cas 2 2,2,2,4,1T timing. I still have one stick of the Crucial, but will upgrade that eventually.

Got my new M/B had to send it back had 9 beeps on post Bios was bad. Xp pro had problems loading software. Got it from one of are sponsors. got an RMA within seconds. should have it back next week.

I've been senden m/d's back left and right asus has a bad bios problem how menny beeps do you want? 9-7-4-3-2 -0 everything but 1. went with MSI 865pe next fastest m/b with that chpset 46000 on the benchmark. And only 1 beep on start up

Perhaps Asus is more compatible with Amd chips versus the Intel chip? This would be the first I have heard of it. Which motherboards were you running into the problem with. I'd be interested in knowing.
