Before I even go near Intel, I'll wait until I see a comparison between the new dual core processors. Even if Intel is getting higher clock speeds, it is the performance that counts for me. And so far, AMD has won on performance. Especially when you see things like this.

first off I haave decided to leav e intel for good, there is no amout of Mhz Intel can throw at me to get me to come ba now. Give me an AMD!

I have know this all along but it to a friend smacking me in the back of the head to figure it out.

AMD is faster (PERIOD)
Intel takes too long to work on one thing.

so I have kicked intel out and said HHHEELLOOOOOOOOO, BHHAAABBBAY!!!

Everything I'm reading say that 4th Q next year AMD will be behind unless they pull a rabbit out of their hat..... Which could happen.

Only when it comes to the MHz wars.  Processing, I believe they will still be in there swinging.  And although Intel may be promising their chips now, they have shown a great lack in the "released on time, working everytime" department.
