I never had a cap before, or a threat of suspension for using the internet too much. I have transferred more then 100 gig in a months time in the past and never got charged for it. As of late I haven't had a reason to transfer a lot of data so I'm not sure if I'm capped or not.

But this just seems asinine!

At this point Cox does not have a cap on us.  However, I could see them trying it if they feel that the pricing for the service might go above what the customers will tolerate.
