boomslang 2000 issue or not

Damnation,

I'm running XP with this bloody Razor boomslang 2000 and for some reason it highlights all the icons on my desktop.  I have to right click, to "lock", on one to open.  In addition the scroll button only scrolls about .5 the time, the other .5 it flips forward and back b/w web sites.
This is super annoying... Any suggestions I've installed the registry xp update, but the doesn't seem to smooth over this issue!

What version of the drivers are you running?

Zoƫ: Shepard, isn't the Bible kind of specific about killing?
Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.
