There is a prizes button on the left side menu.. It should be displaying everything we currently have allocated. More swag could be dedicated to CoD.. but first we have to see a good competition amount.. I think the sheer popularity of CS in the Omaha area should explain the prize situation there... One of the most difficult things to do (and ZW knows this) is trying to make everyone happy about tournaments/swag distribution..

No.. the place isn't closed down.. they just shift a lot of their important to their business games downstairs.. FFC has had a little bit of rennovation/expansion in the past few years. We basically get the party area along with the upstairs game area to hold the event. Of course currently the amount of space allocated will be based upon the registrations we get :)

Just like last time.. they will move Arcade machines around to accomodate the space... We had room for 250 at the previous event we did there.. :)

We of course didn't manage to get that many to show up.

Seats have been increased to 200 with no limit imposed! If we can fill 200, we'll continue to add more as demanded! Don't miss the largest LANparty event in Omaha!

Lots of new sponsors, lots of good competition and fun to be had.

Yup, 2004 is quickly finding its way and with that an exciting new year of lan parties from the GZA crew. Kicking off 2004 will be NETWAR 4.0 on February 7th and 8th. We're back at the SOKOL which means you food lovin' folks can bring your grub again... We'll be battling it out with Counter-Strike, Halo, and Unreal Tournament 2003... Expect a pepperin' of Call of Duty, Jedi Academy and maybe even some Tron 2.0 Deathmatch as well, not to mention some old skool UT.

Software / What new games are you looking forward to playing?
« on: September 26, 2002, 10:04:01 PM »
Battlefield 1942
Unreal Tournament 2003
No One Lives Forever 2 : A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s way

wootage Cate Archer ownz :D

Oh and Earth and Beyond was cool.. but after a few Beta wipes of my character.. I don't have the strength to play another pay per month game right now.. maybe Galaxies.. but I've been through EQ, UO, AO, and JumpGate..

They just require too much time which doesn't allow me to play the other games :D

Usually I base prizes on the attendance for a particular title.. but if you guys want I can come up with something relatively soon.. I'm still waiting for ATI's stuff to come in though ;)

I was also thinkin about throwing in some Last Man Standing since that was pretty intense at F3.. or maybe Last Man Standing for UT2003 Demo/Full depending on who all has it..

lemme know what you guys think..

Actually its more of the matter of the department I work in.. people share the computers.. so I'd rather not give them message board access under my account...? ;)
