I'll be bringing a sweet system this year. Can't wait to try it out on ya all:P .

WD Caviar 40GB IDE HDD
Optorite dvd-r IDE

Thermaltake Tsunami Dream Case
Saitek Gamers usb keyboard
Thermaltake Mousepad
Logitech MX510 Mouse
Hyundai L90D+ 19" LCD monitor

Only thing still from the last system is the ram and mouse. Set the system up in 3 hours.

damn thing. keeps giving me "machine check exception". Trying to update drivers but thats when it mainly happens (and in some games). I did not drop $2000+ for this :mad:

seems it's a problem with the primary ide port. Either it's bad or I can't use it while I'm running a sata drive. Lucky for me the ide drives I'm running now I don't need for long (and I can pick up a sata adapter if I need to).

Gave it a 3 hour test with dc final. Rock solid.

Sad to say my computer is still not done....

The processor that I was going to use was missing a pin (Go figure. Something had to go wrong!) and while I am waiting, I'll be using my brothers processor.
