just placed an order at tigerdirect.com and the total was only $388! Not bad as most places want $430+ for the monitor and then another $15 for shipping.

here is a link to newegg's page. it's sold out but they have the best description of it (and they have feedback on the page)

http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=24-179-014&depa=0

Hard to believe last year I was griping about paying $50 for a used 17" monitor and this year I drop nearly $400. Times have changed.

btw
here is tigerdirects link

sure.

wait till you see the rest of the system. It's going to be SWEET! I have about 80% of the system and still have $1000 to spend. I'm getting an x800 pro for sure as well as 2 74gb raptor hard drives. Not sure what else I should get.

any idea on a good joystick?

Try a Saitek joystick.

http://www.saitekusa.com/usa/prod/joysticks.htm

I have the Cyborg EVO, and found out this weekend that Spade and Dark Angel do as well.

The king of joystick info would be Vector, but we may not hear from him, as he has been well over his head with work.

Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.

It arived today :rolling!

it's huge. Though I'm still not 100% happy as I can still see slight blur (yes I'm picky). Still it's not bad. Only had one pixle stuck on red but I rubbed it out.

Next on my list is a pci-e motherboard and either a x850xt or xtpe (depending on my cash this weekend) and 2 74gb raptor hard drives. Getting ready for battlefield 2.

nice thing was I jumped on a sale. So the card only cost me 489.00 and not the $530 they want now.
