Wanted to post that I have upgraded...

New Box is as follows:

ASUS A7N8X-E Delux MOBO
120 GIG PC 133 Drive (Decided not to go SATA)
1GIG of Corsair Twin 512 XMS PRO Ram Sticks with the Ram usage LED Bridge
XP 2700+ Processor Barton Core.
CoolerMaster Jet7 Turbo Cooler
Saphire ATI 9800 Pro Video Card.

This machine is a rockin piece... Hope I can actually use it...

Also, I have now an ASUS 266E Board if someone is needing one, I will let it go cheap... I also have an ASUS 166-E too.

I have two Audigy sound cards. and 1 Sound Blaster Live Platinum with the front end controller.

Anyhoo. Wanted to brag, but I know ole Boomslang has a box that probably puts all of us to shame. Too bad my moment in the sun lasted only a moment.

for shame, no not really. But if you like CoD, you'd love the Red Orchasta Mod for 2K4.
Man, I haven't really played any games any a while.

Well, I am back from KC.. I have GREAT NEWS. The part of Ambush clan that lives in KC is ALIVE and VERY WELL!  I got whooped by Team Bayer!  :)  Nevertheless, it was tons of fun seeing them and an honor to meet them on the battlefield of CoD!

You missed a great one here too, that is until the power went out.  Then again maybe it wasn't so great.  I showed up with my 21" monitor and it died within 5 minutes.  I went home and got the other one and played the rest of the day.  When I took that one home and plugged it in, it was trashed too!!!  Luckily they were company monitors and I'm getting 2 brand spanking new 22" Sony monitors tomorrow morning.  No more refurbs for a while!!!

OpieSilver was a new slang word for "I desire to TK on accident as much as possible."

And he did too!!! :ak47::eek:

Opie had an itchy trigger finger and was a bit jumpy.  Everytime I played with him, I tried to stay where I could see him.

If he turned a corner and someone was there he wasn't expecting, he fired first, and checked second.  Invariably, it was a friendly fire situation.  He was getting pretty good at shooting anything that moved for a while thee.  Torward the end he was calming down and getting it under control.

The other issue was Zeet and his freaking grenades.  In the annals of Ambush! history, there has only been one other player with such a lack of grenade skillz.  Zeet was giving that bit of history a run for it's money.

It was a good time to be had, but I really wish that MidAmerican Energy could have got the power back on sooner. :(

Let me explain the grenade thing. It boils down to Zwarrior kills Zeet while Zeet is holding a grenade. Zeet throws grenade about 6inches because he gets fragged while throwing. Zwarrior walks towards Zeet's dead body and ZWarrior goes BOOOOOM!

I call that a Frag From the Grave!!!
Don't  ZWarrior Just be cautious :8o: of my body it may go Boom!

In wolfenste:ET we'd create a key that would draw and drop a granade at the same time if a Covert OPs was nears that way they couldn't Get our cloths and they'd Die trying too.
Z, Don't walk at Zeets you just shot or untill you hear BOOM! Just some advice.:hotbouns:

I think a clarification is in order here.  I believe the body count for Zeets grenades usually ran in the friendly fire column not the enemy column.  I, and many others, was killed by my teamate Zeet's grenades more that  by our enemy Zeet's grenades.   :P
