I think that this should be a main forum. And I would ask all parties to paste any cool map update, mods, ect for UT2003 here. Makes an easy place to go to find the really good stuff.

Map sizes:

Original Lava Giant - Between 1 and 2 megs.

New Lava Giant in UT2K3 - over 5 megs...

Who is going to the Lanageddon?
Who is going to KC Beat Down?

I don't think I can make all three, my wife would beat me. But I'd like to go to the one or maybe 2 where the A! team can have the best showing.

THe new UT2003 sounds great. But the limitation on how many translocator throws is a bummer.. No biggie.. I'll get over it and excel....

Translocator is one of my favorite tools in the game. I'll really miss using it whenever I want.

The one thing about the tranny limit is that now you will have to learn how to actually USE your weapons!

The trany was the hardest thing to learn to use properly in the entire game. If you have an expert behind the trany, that person is unstoppable! :transloc:

I don't know that they are unstoppable, I can take out the tranny twins, but you have to be good and practiced to do it. I can't tell how many time I flacked them in the tourney while they were trying to get me with the tranny.

Except now you can use teh Tranny as a spycam as well. Now I have to be watching for you to throw it in and quickly take it out before you see what I am up to!
