bf1942 crashes

ive posted this many places. but to no avail.

when i start bf1942 (the full version) the splash screen shows up then disapears and nothing happens. THe demos work fine. wats doing this?

my compy is as follows:
Dual p3 600's
tyan mobo
gf4 mx440 se
512mb of pc100

wtf is with it?
all other games run perfectly!

Have you tryed totaly UNinsalling BF deleting the folder and reinstalling it.

BF is very temperamental somtimes

I had this same problem.  Had to do a complete uninstall of the game, clean out all the registry entries, and then install again.  It's been working ever since.  I'll have the latest patches available at the party if anyone needs them.

I too see this but if I am patient, it will eventually come up.

Now that the F3 s past, I can reinstall to my hearts content.

I had something similar to that.. My refresh rates/ resolutions had issues.  What OS are you using? Have you loaded any refresh rate/ resolution software on to your machine...and if so which ones?

I had the samething happen to me I had my video card o/c tuned it to defalt and went away. also try rebooting
