last question before lanparty (ram).
« on: September 06, 2003, 08:01:01 PM »
I am looking for some high quality ram for my system. I am running a nf7-s rev 1.0 (so no ultra 400 chipset :;(: ) board and a 333mhz fsb processor(2600+). I want to run the ram in Dual Channel mode.

I can spend a max of $200(but would like to stay far below that for other goodies). I also want 512mb(256mb X2) at the low end but really want 1gb(512mb X2) of ram.

Any suggstions?

BTW
I also need a new copy of cd2 for battlefield 1942. Mine broke 8/ .

Those are good modules.

Current price at newegg is $248 so I'd say anything under that is a good deal.

Where can you get it for that price. Pricewatch has it for $299. The seller has the timing wrong it's 2-3-2-6 still very fast

newegg $298 (for two unmatched )

I ended up buying 512mb worth of ram. it's still fast so I'm happy.
