figures. as soon as i can im moving to linux too. ive tried several versions but wasnt satisfied(read- it was a :crash: trying to set up)thats why im still running 98. what do u guys recommend?

Actually it is easier to load that any of the versions of Windows that a have played with.  As far as Linux recomendations SuSE 8.2 if you have $40 to spend otherwise download Red Hat 9.0 for free.  Just need a burner and some time.

Sorry I did not have time to even turn on my computer all weekend.  Linux is free, however not all Linux distrubtions are free.  That is one way for all of the Linux companies can make money.  If you are looking for freebies try here, and also go here for some documentation.  Also if you know how FTP works you can try any number of FTP mirror sites just search Red Hat.com for a list.
