hey ya freeeks, no new conversations i've seen, so I thought I would start a new one with a conversation starter "what would be your ideal first person shooter game" or "what improvements would you make on the currently exsisting first person shooter games" ?

If you haven't already seen this, there's a mod out there for Battlefield 1942 called Desert Combat.  It's a conversion mod, changes everything to modern day equipment.  The teams are Allies vs. Iraq.  You get MIG's, F-16's, M1 and T72 tanks, HUMVEE's, BMP's, and a slew of other stuff.  Team balance is off but that will be fixed before it goes gold.  It's a free mod. It's still in Alpha but it's hella fun and has already won best mod at fileplanet.

Hell it's gotta be good, it stole me away from Tribes, and I never thought that'd happen!

Sound cool, I'll have to check it out when I have time....well maybe I'll have to check it out when I don't have time, otherwise I'll never look at it.

Ideal 1st person shooter? Hmm variety is the spice of life.  I most of the games, but mostly I like playin with all of you guys.  I would play for long if all I could do is kill bots.  So for me, the best 1st person shooter is the one that my friends and I are all playing together.  :D

Zoƫ: Shepard, isn't the Bible kind of specific about killing?
Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.
