EFF's patent busters take on broad multiplayer gaming patent
« on: February 05, 2008, 11:16:54 AM »
Can you believe this guy?

We were running Duke-Days in 1998 and earlier.  The bloody game released in 1996 so there is plenty of evidence that multiplayer over a network existed.  As far as stats keeping, UT was released in 1999 and had that in an online mode even.  ANybody remember when I had the stats for our personal UT server available online to the world?

The USPTO  really needs to be hit with a clue bat repeatedly.

Zoƫ: Shepard, isn't the Bible kind of specific about killing?
Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.
