4k DPI, is it even possible for a mouse?
« on: September 25, 2007, 01:47:45 AM »
Why yes it is. Thanks to razer, the new Lachesis coming out with 4k DPI built into it. Have fun reading about it!

But how effective is it to have 4K DPI?  You are talking about a device that will be polled and is now limited not by the technology but by the user.  That is some serious granularity.  The mousepad and the feet has better be absolutely frictionless as well.

Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.

4k DPI is just unnecessary, The is no practical reason to have it. Nobody even with a frictionless surface can utilize it. 2k is pretty much over the top of necessary. The only time I can see needing precision like that is in detailed work, like photo and video editing.

I still can't find where we pre-order and their customer service will not respond to tickets or anything.
