I can only notice the difference when I Rem. Desktop in to my home from work.
I haven't notice much anywhere else, but I am no complanining. They need to stop being so up tight with the bandwidth.:D
I still want a static IP on my account
but unless I go business they won't give it over. They even tied to tell me it was for my own good. I would ask for it if I was concerned.

Zoë: Shepard, isn't the Bible kind of specific about killing?
Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.

I'm thinking of upgrading my cpu.. to an AMD XP2800+ some time in the future.

OR

I might decide to wait and upgrade my motherboard, CPU, and PCI EXPRESS video card at the same time. :hotbouns:

The market is going to have some SWEET looking vid cards in the near future!!!!:hotbouns:

I don't know yet, boom.  With what I am reading, the DDR2 isn't really as fast as its DDR counterpart.

DDR2 may be more scalable for the cpu's but it's higher latency and lower voltage doesn't allow it to show its strength as much. Time will see if it comes out of its shell.

I'm not looking for much of an upgrade for a while....maybe a video card if I find the right price.  I want to wait for  64 bit to prove it's place, and PCI express, maybe DDRII.  In my opinion in a year or so these technologies will have begun to mature, and that will be a MAJOR upgrade ($$$). So until then I'm pretty happy with my 2500+ and ATI 9600 Pro.
Luck is better than skill anyday! The more skill I get, the luckier I get!

Let us not foget JHarsh and HIS upgrade schedule!

He is more agressive than Boomslang!

And I won't complain much with regard to Boom's upgrades, it makes for inexpensive upgrades for the rest of us.
