I have been through several different headsets so far, including one that proclaimed itself to be a gamers headset.  They all sucked.

One was too heavy, both were too quiet, and the mic quality on one was really bad.  The other's mic quality was just pitiful instead of really bad.

I did notice that there was a USB version and a analog version.

Like I have been saying for a while Z, try using this Plantronics head set.

This is the one that I am using. You can also get it from Confused Us All.
Don't fear, the Rocket Master is here!

Good reviews, may have to look into these.  I like my headsets, but I really would like a solid set that is more portable.  I currently have a collapsible headset, but that stupid mic still gets int eh way.  the fact that this mic is removeable is something I really like more than anything else.  Well, that and the 360 sound.  I like being able to hear Snauz in a tree above me and shoot him out of it. ;)

Wow I was thinking that someone should make a earbud gaming headset.

The two things I thought of were that the mic is probably bound to pick up a lot of noise, and that you are more prone to hearing damage with those versus normal headsets since the sound pressure has nowhere to go but into the eardrum.

Look nice though.
