I received my Boomslang 2100 today! Woot Woot!....

I just happened to be one of those that had errors getting it to work. Had to do some of the suggested ideas from their support website.

First of all, I read on the website that having a Microsoft Intellimouse mouse and software can cause problems on the install of the Razer mouse. I uninstalled my Intellimouse. When installing the Razer.. i received a "FAILED" error message. I ended up having to go to the Device manager, clicking on 'mouse and other pointing devices'...and then updating the driver on a HID-Compliant mouse. I, unfortunately ended up having 2 of those referenced. The first one didn't work. But the second one did.

With the drivers and software installed.. I wanted to check this baby out! Went into Unreal Tournament. Had to use the 'On the Fly' Sensitivity option because it was moving TOO fast. Nice option. Seemed to be more accurate. After the short time of playing, I noticed my forearm was a little tight. Will have to keep practicing until I get better and my arm gets used to it.

Compared to my Boomslang 2000 that never worked, this one is AWESOME. But that isn't saying a whole lot because my other one didn't work. :)   My hand seems a little more comfortable, but I have to get my ring finger accustomed to being used as my alt fire finger. Time will tell.

I got mine today. Had to do what Wolf did for the drivers to work. I didn't have to uninstall my Logitech drivers just unplugged and rebooted.
Went in and played COD no more tic tic tic across the screen

I figured out that I was not playing with the latest drivers for the 2100.  So I loaded them.

Guess what?  I had the failure message as well!  I little finessing of the device manager and I was golden!

Mine has been working fantasticly!  I am learning to get accustomed to it.... I have to play for a while on a certain setting to get used to the sensitivity..Seems more accurate it regular UT. Haven't used it in other games yet... will keep updating!

I think I am going to reinstall my Intellimouse to use for for regular mousing and the Razer for gaming...

Got my 2100.  Love it!  No problems with it tilting or leaning as that review pointed out.  That guy is an idiot.

As for coming down and gaming with you guys, I'd love to.  Unfortunately, timing is always bad.

I'm trying to get people up here together for a lan but no one seems to care any more.  Too bad.  I feel lonely up here. :(

Rest assured that we are always thinking of you.  Perhaps sometime next year we can schedule a nice quiet party in your backyard.

Tried to appliy the fix for the sticking button, but ended up pulling the button out of it's socket up front.  Gotta fix that when I get home.

Yes, I have found that the 2100 seems to be a bit more comfortable than the 2000.
