Say it isn't so!  Better yet, tell me it's NOT a cruel hoax!

First check out the home page for Razer.

I am PUMPED!  I have 2 count 'em TWO defunct boomslang 2000 mice in my supply area, and one working boomslang.  Which means that I can get a good price on at least of the new boomslang mice.

Looks like I am finally going to SCORE!

And you guys pick on me for keeping old equipment.

:D

Big news or big peace of crap! I Payed $100 for mine and has been, well not good. Had to go to a slower mouse. What ever happened to the 2500's that were recalled? made them into 2100's maybe:eek: I guess I got to find some reviews.

All the reviews that I have read say it's a good unit.

Haven't heard much bad about them.

The biggest gripe seemed to be about the mouse "tilting" to the right when you right click.  That's an odd issue.

Everyone else seems to be liking it though.

I noticed that as well.  Gotta love the new drivers.  But I still find myself liking my Boomslang 2000.

Keep an eye out for the trade-in message then!

Hey Wolverine,  why don't you try selling it on EBay?  If you aren't going to use it, there are plenty of peeps that would buy it from you.  Especially since you can't get them anymore, and the other ones won't be available to the general public in the US for a while.

Just a thought.8/

This is the last two lines in their mouse review.

"Lastly, the Terratec Razer Boomslang is a dated show-off item for extremists who claim that only a trackball and very-high speeds can help you win at Half Life."

Didn't get a very good review. They want $40 for an upgrade. That $20 to much for me.

You can now go and take advantage of the trade up deal.  Comes to $39.99US plus shipping.

I am using a MX700, but I can definitely see a difference in the resolutions.  there have already been times playing with the MX700 that I couldn't settle right on target.  Hopefully I can get a good review made of this new item.  ;)

Odd because it makes me wonder just how hard he has to POUND on his right mouse button to make it click.

The way the review is written makes it worth about a half a grain of salt.

You have to give the Boomslang at least two weeks of continuouse use.  Once you make it that far, there is no other mouse for you.  I have a broken 2000 and will definitely be trading in for a 2100.

The naysayers just didn't give the mouse enough time, and didn't learn how to use it.  It's not geared for the average consumer.
