Zoë: Shepard, isn't the Bible kind of specific about killing?
Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.

Quoted from TomsHardware.com

Battlefield 1942 Expansion Pack For PC Complete

Electronic Arts has confirmed that the Battlefield 1942 Expansion Pack "Road To Rome" is ready and will ship February 4. Battlefield 1942 was developed by Digital Illusions' and is becoming a very popular WWII-themed multiplayer shooter. The new "Road To Rome" expansion pack is said to feature six new maps, eight vehicles, and a few new infantry weapons. The expansion pack is said to retail for a very reasonable $19.99.

I don't know if you would really call that reasonable or not.

Play on our server, and then practice even more.  It took me abouta week to get comfortable with the interface and the physics.
Big thing is that you are most accurate when you are prone, and to allow for bullet travel time.  both are in the game.

Don't try driving right away.  Once you do, learn to switch your view using the "C" key frequently.  Driving is easier when you use the behind view to see where you are going.

Flying?  Better talk to Wolvy and Spade about that.

Oh yeah, there is a zoom on the personal projectile weapons ( rifle, submachine gun, rpg)  just right-click.

And the best part is that this game is very good about people being able to play multiple roles based on their tastes and skills.

I personnally love playing as either assault or engineer, and then either drive tanks or drive destroyers.

either way, it's all about the KA-BOOOM!

Been tempted to blow up a few allied tanks that bots steal from me.  but then I would lose points, and THAT would not be good!

Flying is certainly the most fun for me, It can however be very frustrating when you have several enemy planes in the air as well as bots on the ground all trying to take you down.  You end up trying to stay alive and cant focus on getting your target.  I also enjoy the tanks.  If you pair up with someone, drive a tank and have an engineer follow you on foot.  His job is to keep fixing you as well as toss hand gernades out in front off you to take down the guys.  It is most effective.  BTW, when flying you can toggle between veiws with F9, F10, and F11.  F10 for general flying and bombing.  F9 for air to air.  F11 for ZW.:lol

Even better:  the "C" button is by default programmed to toggle through the available views.  And if you are in the cockpit view already, then hit "F9" again, and the cockpit disappears but you still have the targeting recticle!

I thought Ctrl-Alt-Del was to get me!

Dang had it wrong the whole time!

Some of you may prefer to have a 'no cd' patch of 1.3... I like not having to put in my cd to play the game...

I have looked around and haven't found one yet.
