Hey guys check this out...

An <a href="http://www.nvidia.com/page/quadroplex.html">EXTERNAL[/url] video card.

Holy shamoly!!  A video processor that sits on your desk and is bigger than some of those little lan-party pc's.

I know it probably costs an arm and a leg...probably your first born child too...but that would still be pretty sweet.

I like that it's external.  Be nice if that were something we moved to. It would make a lot of the upgrade and heating problems go away.

NVIDIA has announced their Quadro Plex 1000 workstation, their new multi-GPU system for advanced graphical computing. The new system comes in three flavors and starts at $17,500. The first units start shipping in September. Here is a snip:
