IE vulnerability
« on: December 01, 2005, 12:52:54 PM »
There is a new trojan that is in the wild and making round using a vulnerability that is, as of now, without a patch from MS.  The vulnerability is in IE, although if the Enhanced Security Configuration is active the user should be safe.  Maybe.

More on the vulnerability: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/advisory/911302.mspx
More on the exploit: http://www.microsoft.com/security/encyclopedia/details.aspx?name=TrojanDownloader:Win32/Delf.DH

Zoƫ: Shepard, isn't the Bible kind of specific about killing?
Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.

Can't find this stuff before people exploit it. Or is that just too much to ask.
No matter how hard you try to push the envelope, remember it's only stationary.
