How long have I been gaming?

Let's just say that I was playing D&D back when it was the blue book, and there were no leads.

But i recently stumbled upon a high tech way to play on a tabletop with leads and have the map on the table be dynamic as well.

http://www.d20srd.org/extras/mapProjection.htm

Makes me want to fire up some characters, find my old leads, and play!

I believe I still have my characters book somewhere, and I know that my dice are in the basement.

How sad.  And here I won't really play, but I am not getting rid of some of the things I had.

I made the mistake of letting someone borrow the coolest thing that I had, a chain mail dice bag.  As for everything else I got rid of it a long time ago.

Actually, it has been my desire to create a d20 RPG that focuses on the gaming, instead of the magic and the dark arts.

I have talked with others who are Christians and former gamers and they have said the same thing.  I really miss sitting down with other gamers and exploring dungeons in my mind.  As well as the fellowship or doing this with someone else.  Some of my greatest memories of being a teenager were while I was gaming.

That would be intreasting. I know I spent a fair amount of time at the table. Moving through Enchanted forests and sneaking though Dungeons. I like that idea.

The problem is with the concepts of magic and clerics.  Gonna have to think on this.

Nothing beats gutting a greater monster with a single swipe because you rolled a 20 then a 00 for critical hit score.

Many a monster and man has fallen before my mad d20 skillz!

Hmmm, lemme see those dice.

These are d20, how do you roll a 25 without modifiers?

Rolls the die.

25

Rolls the die.

25

Rolls the die.

25

I am thinking maybe Snauz is playing with loaded dice.
