Mourning the loss of a man
« on: March 05, 2008, 07:23:11 AM »
Say whatever you will about the game, D&D has stuck around and entertained billions.  I, myself, played it for over 10 years and loved every minute of it.

The man who created it and thus the Role-playing genre was taken to a new level, died yesterday.

Zoë: Shepard, isn't the Bible kind of specific about killing?
Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.

As the news of his passing spreads, the online tributes are showing up.  So far the best I have seen is from Giant in the Playground's strip Order of the Stick. Read it here.

I could not have said it better myself.
