Google has a nice search tool for your computer.  It indexes your files, web pages in your cache etc. finding something is much faster than the search native to windows.  Here is the link.

Don't know a friend of mine is using it...I tried it on his laptop, I will try it on my pc later.

According to Google, it only runs (catalogs) the contents of your computer when your system is idle.
