looking for THE mousepad!
« on: August 20, 2004, 07:12:14 PM »
In a few days I'll have my hands around a red MX510 so I figure If I'm going to have the best mouse I must have the best pad (I don't want to have to tape paper to the table like in the last party). Any ideas?

I shot down 3 planes with an Abrams tank my first game with that mouse (Thanks Whirl (my victim :evil)). Much better than my old mouse which would stutter at the speeds I was moving.

I'll look around for a func pad but I'm happy with little $.99 pad I have now in case I don't get one in time.

I have been through a lot of pads, and the Func that I am using is staying on my desk for a long time to come.

I recently spent a few hours reading reviews on the net and I decided on a Func pad.  Newegg has em for $24. I decided to go with a new pad as I've been using the MX700.  I loved this mouse when I first got it, but lately, I've wanted more, so I decided to go with a high quality mouse pad and see how it goes.  I also pulled out my old boomslang1000 to test out, and I'm liking it again too.  The pad does make a difference.

And to think I still play with a MicroSoft USB Wheel Mouse, low rez and all.  I just like the way it feels in my hand.

Just think how you would be if you actually stepped up to the high end mouse and pad.

You might actually be able to play! :D

Stress is funny that way.  Fortunately, I am now done with the 1st major project at work, and can focus on the event, and the other projects.  back to 45 hours work weeks instead of 55-60.  YAY!!
