The setting are not on the highest. If they were you wouldn't buy the game. anyway you still need a $300 cpu and a $500 vcard. Wow thats only $850 so you can play the game at a good frame rate.

Well I held it today, Yes I walk into EB Games and Held the box. I won't buy it there, they want $54.00. I'll go somewhere cheaper. But I accually held the real game wow what a rush!:D

Well I have Doom 3 Bought it to day. and all I have to say is,...CLEAR!... Ok now that I got my heart restarted Its a awsome game. as for comtent a bit demonic but, eh I don't mind. The Graphis are beyond WOW, and lets just say if you have heart conditions or are over the age of 40 don't play. with this game it is on the edge at all times, I had to scotch guard the seat I am at and still put plasic over it.

I have heard people who are having nightmares because of this game. People constantly sweating because of the content.

The only nightmare I think I'd have is my computer frying it's self.

Doom 3 is probably the most intese game I think I have ever played. I just don't understand it giving a person nightmares and cold sweats. Except people with a high fear factor and then if you have that why would you buy a game that is that intense? Maybe I am just so desensitized that not much effects me. I must say that I have been on all the edges of my seat while playing it.

Fighting evil or not, What you put into your head will come out your heart.

Think about what you see and hear all day long, and then your attitudes and behaviours. You will find that there is a connection.

I would rather not promote something that has references to the demonic anyway. Trust me, you aren't going to kill a demon with a bullet, silver or otherwise.

ZW, I admire your you outlooks on media and you prospective on "what you feed your mind and body".
It is true that what enters though your eyes, ears, and sometime mouth, Often is reflictive throughyour attitude and eventually the way you live. However, I also believe that if you truely pay attention to what you consume, (Music games, movies, and tv) and not only make dicisions like whether or not you are going to comsume or if you choose to consume it, pay attention to what exactly is entering your mind, know what you are doing with it. In my case I don't pull in a hole lot of negitive, but every now and then I do. I haven't had problems from it yet, but if I did I have plenty of honest friends and family that would set me straight, and eventuly if I didn't take the advice , would beat me:D, but yes ZW I agree with that, your statement, and if you choose not to play it would probably be for the best.

The one thing that many don't consider is that I am open minded enough to examine the product.

But I also the glamorization of the Occult and the demonic to be offensive because of my religous beliefs and my past experiences with said subjects.

I won't get into a discussion of those experiences without good cause, but neither will I back the promotion of these things.
