Here's a little something to get you pumped for Half-Life 2, even if it's an entirely different physics engine. I suggest trying out the demo titled "Procedural Walk".

Very cool!
Run the one where you have the stick figures walking around, adn then use the 4 button to shoot at them.  If you press it fast enough, you get a machine gun and they flop around all over the place.
