I didn't realize that there were boards that supported both styles.  Cool.

I would assume that if there were, there should be a jumper to set it.  Or it may just have both connectors live always, and you only use one.

Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.

I got my free computer working.:rolling Still not sure what board I have, but I got it working and installed Red Hat 9.0 on it. I have it running in text mode because I don’t need a GUI for what it will be doing.

I want to remote connect to it using SSH, but unsure how to set up Linux to do that.
So this Question is for the Linux guys. How?

I have my Win XP System setup as a client using a program called Putty. But I need to setup my Linux box to host?
Help!

I could feel his pain.  I am spending a large amount of time in Linux lately, and so much of it is coming back.  But I have spent a lot of time in the past just trying to find help with things.  I couldn't deny the request.

btw does anybody know much about cpanel, I d/l and installed it to learn about it but do you need the license to acully use it, does the license give you the intatial login to use or what? I istalled it but i am unable to access it. if so I will lose it but I was hopeing to just explore it.

I have used it quite often, but have never had to install it.  I do believe you need a license to get it running though.
