Users of Win98/98SE/ME were due to have their support cut-off Friday Jan 16 2004.  But MS has extended it to June 30, 2006

They just wanted to get the expiration for the 9x series to be all the same.

I remember those days:D
Yeah my dad laughed at me when I put XP pro on my box. He said I would have so many problem, and it would be soo slow.
so I had ran experiment with him I loaded Win 98 on my box and clocked the boot up and program load time then I put XP back on and did the same thing and with XP my times where faster. He said it was just my computer. I said Good at least I can build a good computer:D
anywho to make a long story short my dad dispises Wndows is only love is DOS 6.22. I can't even get him to use Linux. "DOS was the only true OS" I liked Dos but there is just one problem that made me upgrade .....Software Support!
