Runing a IP MASQ

I was wondering if anyone here knows about running a LINUX  IP MASQ's and if they do I was wondering if I could send my box which isnt formatted or anything, and they could setup linux and the IP MASQ for the LAN parties im running. :D

you should be able to do it yourself, i did it with NAT on win2003 server, so you should be able to do it with linux:rolling

Why would you want to set up a proxy like this?  Just spend the $40 to get a small NAT.  You won't waste a cpu if you do.

M0nkey,
If this is a box to take to LAN parties, and use as a firewall, you may find that it's overkill.  We used a Linksys Router to provide the DHCP, and as a firewall if the connection was there.  However, the connection to the Internet has never been available except at the Crackaz, and they already have that equipment in place.

However, that's not to say that what you want can't be done.  There are several in this area who can load that for you.  It may cost you a little bit for their time, but I know there are a few people in the area and on the board that can do that.
