Has anyone else tried to use the boomslang as a left-handed mouse then switching the Lclick and Rclick around so you can use the pinki button as the on-the-fly sensitivity button insted of the thumb button??? (few long sentance)

Well it works all fine and dany unless you are trying to run using Rclick and shoot using Lclick

Try it and youll know what I mean.........

anyway Im going to cry about it and tell razer to fix there drivers....

I use to use the left button on my Intellimouse for my sniper rifle..but had to switch that to the right (pinky finger) button to use the boomslang at its default setup.

There is a flat spring that holds a steel roller ball against the wheel. Take a small screwdriver and release some of the pressure on the roller ball

no you cant the drivers only alow the thumb button to be the sensitivity on the fly unless you use it as a left handed mouse and flip the click and menu buttons around....  trust me....  but if you dont then try it for yourself.....

Since I use all the buttons already for other things, I don't use the sensitivity function.

Razer, maker of extra-fast and -precise mice for hardcore game players, says it will ship its first optical mouse in February. The company says the Viper 1000 ($50) will have the most advanced optical tracking system of any mouse to date, for faster response and smoother movement than any mouse except the Razer Boomer Control 1400 and Boomer Speed 2100 opto-mechanical models.
Also promised for the first quarter, at a price to be announced later, is the Razer eXactMat, a two-sided mousing surface specially designed for gamers. The mouse pad's grainy side will favor low-sensitivity "control" players, while a smoother reverse side serves wrist-blurring "speed" jockeys

I just recieved that latest newsletter and it was entirely about the "Save The Mamba" program.  There was nothing about a new optical mouse.  That's way bigger news than saving the mamba!

What is its tracking resolution?
No matter how hard you try to push the envelope, remember it's only stationary.

The Mamba?
Get out the Magic 8-ball and ask.  There are really no firm pics or stats for it.

I wonder how good it is.  I know that Wolvy picked up the hybrid mouse from MS and Razor.  He said they finally expanded the size of the mice buttons, which I believe I saw on this DeathAdder as well.

The reviews I read said it's as good but didn't say anything about being better.

I do hope it is slightly cheaper than the copperhead and the button placements are fixed then I might get it.

I think "Habu" is the name of Wolvy's new mouse.  He showed it to me while he was over here the last time.  they did "fan" out the mouse buttons to better fit 3 fingers unlike what I have to deal with where I can't comfortably use 3 fingers on the mouse.
