ZW and I have been working on a strange FTP problem recently and here is a good piece on the passive mode FTP problem we have encountered.  Routers and Linux can be a real  pain in the rear.

BTW, Opie, the forwarder is using HTTP not FTP.

Yeah, but I'm trying to solve the issue with you not being able to ftp in the maps yourself.

From what I read, put it in passive and open the two ports.
