NEC 20WMGX2 Monitor
« on: September 30, 2007, 09:12:47 PM »
Holy cow!!

This thing would have gone in the Hot Deals section but there weren't enough to bother.  Boomslang called me on Saturday morning to tell me about his new monitor he picked up and NFM.  After telling me about it I was kinda stoked to take advantage of the deal he got...

It was priced at $399 on the shelf, he got it for $299, and then found a coupon on NewEgg for another $100 off.  What a deal.  If you followed the link I provided above you will notice that it retails for almost $700!!

Yepper, I have the coax plugged in already, I have played CoD2 and BF2 on it.  This thing is CRYSTAL CLEAR and fast as all get out it's almost like using my tube-type monitor.  There seems to be no ghosting at all.

This thing rocks!

Zoë: Shepard, isn't the Bible kind of specific about killing?
Book: Very specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzy around the area of kneecaps.

I've been having to much fun with this baby. watch the news and play COD at the same time. Yes this baby has a cable/tv tuner in it. Does HD up to1080.
the picture rooks with my 8800gtx's. DX10 never looked better. The wife can now turn on the lights and for the first time I didn't have to ask her to turn them off!
WOW is not the right word. Mine was phenomenal!   :bouncegreen: :bouncegreen:

I have to agree.  The picture is just phenomenal.  I sooo enjoy playing now.  It is so good that I have actually had problems playing CoD2 because it's so clean that I get a bit queasy when I spin around in the game.
