Ok, as some of you know my Boomslang software went haywire and all atemps to fix failed... SO.... I need to make a prog or a reg-add to map my mouse config...

there are two settings I need a "In Windows" and a "In Game" setting...

"In Game" settings are:
B1= num-
B2= menu
B3= click
B4= num*
B5= O.T.F.S.

"In Windows" settings are:
B1= click
B2= menu
B3= U.S.
B4= n/a
B5= O.T.F.S.

_________________________________
I can change it by adding a saved Reg file to the registry overwriting the old settings butt they dont work right away...

So, Thats why I need help!!!

Most likely, those Registry settings are read in by an application when it starts.  Figure out what app, and restart that app.

You could also have that .reg file run at startup, and it may beat the apps to the load.

NO.... Its a reg file I made with the proper button config for my mouse....

Ok... Ill start over...

One day I sat down to my PC and went into a game. as I was running forward(Right Mouse Clicker= RMC) I tryed to fire (Left Mouse Clicker=LMC) And nothing happend...
So, I stoped running and clicked fire again, and it worked.
So, I tryed to fix In all ways and cant get it fixed..
so I made 2 reg files one with a "in windows config" (the LMC is the click funtion) and a "In Game config" (LMC is a *)....

so when I whent to add the "In Game Config" to play a game, I realized that it dident work, so I logged off and back on and it works...

so every time i want to play a game I have to add the reg files in and log off and back on then it works fine...
every time I get back into windows I have to load the other Reg files and log off and back on then it works fine...

SO...

I was just wundering if there is a way too refresh the Reg w/out restarting?!?!?!?!?!?

What it sounds like is that there is an application that is reading the registry settings at startup, and doesn't read them again until the next startup.  If you can figure out what app that is, you can stop it, then start it again.  That will atleast save you having to logon and logoff to get the settings changes working.

go to your task manager and look under processes and start trying different ones.   At least that how this hack would do it.

Yep, that's pretty much what I would do.  Some you can rule out just by name.  Make sure you backup BEFORE doing this though.
